Every year in France there are 80,000 new cases of skin cancer(1). that’s three times more than 20 years ago. Yet even now, only half of French people buy sun protection products(2). This is despite the many efforts and campaigns to raise awareness of skin cancer in the past 20 years by health authorities, doctors and especially by our partners, dermatologists, as well as the big cosmetics brands.

[How can we reassure you?]
As a dermatological brand, it is our role to offer solutions to such an important public health issue! Our mission is to protect your skin: we need to deliver in terms of the quality of protection, as well as on formats and ease of application. However, two concerns remain: one is endocrine disruptors, the other is the impact on the marine environment.
For the past four years, our R&D teams have been collaborating on scientific research in partnership with a data company and an independent laboratory that specialises in endocrine disruption, to review our range of sunscreens and address factors that are stopping people from using them.

[Transparency. What exactly is this new combination of filters?]
We identified a combination that fulfilled all of our criteria. This is a new combination of just four filters, for which we have registered a patent (FR 19/04215).
Four years of research for a patented* combination of four filters: :
• DIETHYLAMINO HYDROXYBENZOYL HEXYL BENZOATE – UVA filter
• BIS-ETHYLHEXYLOXYPHENOL METHOXYPHENYL TRIAZINE – UVA &UVB filter
• ETHYLHEXYL TRIAZONE – UVB filter
• DIETHYLHEXYL BUTAMIDO TRIAZONE – UVB filter
We added the Sun Secure antioxidant complex to these filters to protect** skin against the entire visible light spectrum: UVB + UVA + VISIBLE LIGHT + INFRARED..
This biologically tested*** complex is composed of vitamin E, Detoxophane and niacinamide****. These ingredients reduce oxidative stress caused by visible light and infrared.

Sun Secure: transparent protection!
Apply generously and evenly before sun exposure, covering all exposed skin. Reducing the amount applied significantly reduces the level of protection. A sun protection product never provides total protection. Repeat application frequently to maintain protection, especially after sweating, swimming or towel-drying. Avoid sun exposure between 12pm and 4pm when the sun’s rays are strongest, or make sure you are wearing protective clothing. Sunburn is dangerous, especially for children. Use sun protection products that are appropriate for your skin type. The use of this product should not encourage you to stay out in the sun for longer. Prolonged exposure to the sun can be dangerous. Keep babies and infants out of direct sunlight. Make sure your baby always wears protective clothing in the sun and only apply sun protection to exposed skin.
