Sun exposure causes the skin to thicken causing pores to become clogged, and microcysts and comedones to form. Once back out of the sun or back from holiday, breakouts can be worse as the skin normalises once again. Also skin can be extra-vulnerable and photo-sensitive if undergoing retinoid treatment for acne, as it thins the skin. To safeguard the skin, daily SPF protection should be used to prevent uv-damage and scarring.
Sebiaclear Crème SPF50+ is a new hybrid formula that offers sun protection and skincare in one product. It combats spots and blackheads, mattifies oiliness and prevents the formation of pigmentation brown marks and blemishes caused by UV-induced rebound effect.
Its new 8-hour hydrating texture absorbs easily, balances the skin, and provides a smooth, non-pilling base for make-up.

New benefits : SEBIACLEAR CRÈME SPF50+ has been reformulated to be even kinder to your skin and the planet:
When the skin has imperfections, it’s easy to think that sunshine will help fade them and leave a healthy glow in their place. Instead, after a period of sun exposure, the skin worsens: this is the rebound effect.
UV rays dry the skin but stimulate sebum production. As the skin thickens, sebum accumulates and blocks the pores. After sun exposure, the skin returns to its original thickness and the sebum and bacteria become trapped. Spots, blackheads and enlarged pores return.
Moreover, whether skin is exposed to the sun in summer or winter, the sun’s rays aggravate imperfections and increase the risk of pigment marks and spots.
SEBIACLEAR CRÈME SPF50+ has been tested on sensitive acne-prone skin and is non-comedogenic.
It is an ideal day cream as it helps to correct, protect and hydrate your skin thanks to its potent dermatological actives:
SVR’s new patented(1) sun filter combination: very high dermatological sun protection that respects the marine environment and protects against all types of rays - UVB, UVA, VISIBLE, INFRARED and UV - as well as spots and marks caused by UV.
Niacinamide (4%) + salicylic acid: regulate sebum, limit bacterial growth, reduce blemishes and smooth skin texture.

Apply evenly to the face before sun exposure. Repeat application frequently.
Apply generously and evenly before sun exposure, covering all exposed skin. Reducing the amount applied significantly reduces the level of protection. A sun protection product never provides total protection. Repeat application frequently to maintain protection, especially after sweating, swimming or towel-drying. Avoid sun exposure between 12pm and 4pm when the sun’s rays are strongest, or make sure you are wearing protective clothing. Sunburn is dangerous, especially for children. Use sun protection products that are appropriate for your skin type. The use of this product should not encourage you to stay out in the sun for longer. Prolonged exposure to the sun can be dangerous. Keep babies and infants out of direct sunlight. Make sure your baby always wears protective clothing in the sun and only apply sun protection to exposed skin.
I chose the wrong kind of sunscreen, one for oily acne prone skin. I want to return it to exchange for one intended for dry skin. I get no response to emails.
Im happy at the moment thx x
is committed to Endocrine Disruptors
Because SVR is a dermocosmetics laboratory with a large family audience and concerned about the safety and tolerance of its products (which are already subject to a drastic charter), we wanted to provide our consumers with concrete answers, through a series of tests carried out on our formulas. These tests were carried out on the estrogenic, androgenic and thyroid endocrine mechanisms.
A strong initiative that seemed legitimate to us in view of SVR's dermatological positioning and the precautionary principle that the laboratory must adopt. An essential initiative to enlighten consumers who trust us about the products they use on a daily basis. Of course, science still needs to make progress on knowledge of endocrine disruptors and we need to move modestly on these issues. But that doesn’t stop SVR from making a contribution. This is why we continually strive to improve our formulas, in order to guarantee our consumers the safest possible products.
The objective is to test SVR care that is aimed at the most vulnerable people and to reformulate those that will not be validated by the tests.
